Olivia and Elliot

here's one of the stories i've written about Special Victims Unit i'm gonna add more stories as i think of them

  Our Story begins on a Cold Day In New York {as most stories on SVU DO} Olivia Benson is running down Lexington Avenue chasing after Tom Thumb, a man who had raped and killed at least 4 women. "HEY! STOP!POLICE!" Olivia yelled    

Just as Tom  was tearing across the street, a Toyota screeched in front of him.Jumping Out of the Car was Olivia's  Partner, Elliot  Stabler.   Elliot Grabbed the creep by the shoulders and said gruffly"I believe the Lady said Stop,Dirtbag" and slapped the handcuff's on him.    

As Olivia was stepping off the Curb, she slipped on a patch of Ice and hit her head, causing her to blackout..   "Olivia, Liv? Honey?!" A voice sounded familiar but Olivia couldn't figured out who it was. She opened her eyes and realized the Voice belonged to Elliot, She tried to sit up but something was weighing her down. "what happened?" Olivia asked,scrunching up her face as the pain in her head grew.

"You Slipped Walking the dog, I saw you from the upstairs window..Are you ok honey?" Elliot said looking Concerned. "My head hurts and why do you keep calling me honey?,

What dog?" Olivia was panicking, what the hell was going on?? She thought.   "Umm, I called you honey that's what i usually call you ,Remember  Our Dog,Mongo? big Collie,ugly mug, lovable mutt..remember?" Elliot was now  more concerned,"Here let me help you up"

"No, that's ok i'm perfectly capeable of getting up,"Olivia said but when she tried to lift herself up but again something was weighing her down, what was it?   "Elliot, why can't i sit up right?" Olivia looked panicked, "Well,i think we can blame the baby for that one" Elliot smiled, helping her get to her feet. "Baby? what baby?"Now Olivia was even more panicked than ever. "Our baby, ya know the one that's been in your belly for nearly 8 1/2 months? Olivia,are you sure your feeling alright?"

Now Elliot was panicking even more than her. "There is no way i can be pregnant,I can't be because i haven't had a boyfriend in months and haven't had sex in months!" Olivia was rambling.  

"Ok Liv, it's cold, how about we get in the car and we take you to the Doctor's because your not acting like yourself" Elliot was practically dragging her to the car by now,panic stricken over what could possibly be wrong with her.   He put her in the car and went about 80 miles an hour to the emergency room,where they sat in the waiting room for about two hours when they were finally called and ushered into an exam room where Olivia was examined and all sorts of tests were peformed.

As Oliva was getting redressed or attempting to get her overalls on,she wondered why the hell she was wearing overalls when she usually wore capris and T-shirts.  The Doctor talked to Elliot outside of the Exam room   "Mr Stabler, I'm concerned about your wife's memory loss, Now I could give her something for her headache and the  concussion but it won't be good for the baby, if she has anymore dizzy spells or feels sick, bring her right back ok?" The Doctor said.  

Elliot nodded and both he and the doctor walked back in to talk with Olivia,who was still  struggling to get into her overalls.   "Well Mrs.Stabler, aside from the minor concussion, I believe you'll be alright"The Doctor Smiled. "My Last name is Benson" Olivia corrected the Doctor, who gave her a-my-mistake look and walked out. "Liv, let's get you home", Elliot helped her into her jacket,and as they were leaving the Hospital, Olivia wondered where they were, this didn't look like The Village and when did Elliot buy a mini-van? He always drove a Mustang, that thing was his baby and where was Olivia BMW?  

"El, Where are we?" Olivia asked "Brooklyn,why?" Elliot stopped walking and looked at her, Olivia shrugged and asked another question,"Why did that Doctor think that we're married?" "We are married,we've been married for several  years" Elliot unlocked the Van.

Olivia was so  stunned by what she heard, she didn't ask anymore questions until they pulled into a driveway.   "How come we're stopping?" Olivia asked, about 20 minutes later even more confused thanbefore. "We're not stopping, We're Home" Elliot ran around the front of the car and helped Olivia get out of the car. She looked up at a gorgous Victorian House and couldn't believe she actually lived here. "You coming" Elliot asked unlocking the front door, Olivia nodded and walked into the house.  

the moment she entered the house,she was knocked down by something hairy and thatwas licking her face, Elliot was turning to ask her something when he saw the dog knock her down. "DOWN MONGO DOWN! GET OFF MOMMY! DOWN!damn dog!," Elliot yelled as he dragged the dog off of her, and asked "Are you ok?" as he was pulling her up, Olivia nodded and started to walk around the house.

"Are you tired?" Elliot asked. "I guess so" Olivia followed him up the stairs and into the first door on the right.   When she entered the room, she was amazed at all the photos of her and Elliot. "Hey El, who took all these pictures?" Olivia was curious about the photos, they were amazing.    

Elliot was pulling  back the sheets on the bed ,"You did,You started snapping pictures of everything just after we got engaged, your  photos were even published in Photographers Monthly".  Olivia sat down on the bed, stunned by how much different her new life was than her old one. "Elliot, I know you're problably tired of me asking questions but i just have a couple questions"

Olivia laid down and looked at Elliot "Ok shoot, what's on your mind?" Elliot layed down beside her. "What happened between you and Kathy?" Olivia asked carefully "Who?" Elliot didn't know who she was talking about "Your Wife?" Olivia was more confused  "Livvy,I've only been married once and that's been to you,Sweetie." 

Olivia could only nod. "why don't you take a nap?, it's been a long day." Elliot's words were semi-useless because she had already fallen asleep.   Elliot got up off the bed and went downstairs. He wanted to do something to make her feel better but he didn't know what, He sat down in the living room and thought about it for awhile. He figured out of all things she might want right now is just to have a decent meal and damn it, he was gonna give it to her. Elliot was going to make her favorite, Lasagna,She always loved his Lasagna. Hechecked the freezer to make sure he had the right ingredients and started to make it.  

 Just as he was putting the sauce over the lasagna, the telephone rang, startling him so much that he nearly dropped the pan. "Yah,Stabler" Elliot balanced the phone and the pan at the same time. "El,I'ts Munch" John Munch,was one of Elliot and Olivia's Co-Workers. "Hey Munch,What up?" Elliot slid the pan into the oven and turned it on. "We need your help desperately, We just got called in on a rape case and We're down an Officer, can you come in?" John sounded desperate"Why? what happened to Fin?" Elliot temporarily forgot hisproblems. "The fool ate shellfish even thought he's allergic and His entire face blew up" John sounded desperate but he was struggling to not laugh,"So can you help us?"   "Ugh, Yeah, give me 20 minutes," Elliot hung up the phone

 He was just starting to write a note to Olivia telling her that he had gone to help Munch on a  case, when she came down the stairs.   "Livvy, I hate to do this now especially since your feeling well  but i have to go, Munch needs me on a case, will you be alright?" Elliot was putting on His jacket and looking for his keys but stopped to look at her.

She nodded and just before he ran out the door,He walked across the kitchen and kissed her. whispering"If you get hungry, there's a lasagna in the Oven,I'll be back later, I love you" and then he was gone.   Olivia walked around the kitchen for a bit and decided that she wasn't really hungry so she turned off the oven and just walked around the House.  

She was amazed at how beautifully decorated the house was and how expensive some of this stuff was.   In the Living room,she found a Big Screen tv, two leather couches and a beautiful coffee table with a photo album on it. She made a mental note to look through the Photo album later after she went through the rest of the house.   

 She went back  upstairs and looked around.  She looked at the room across from her's and Elliot's, She nervously turned the door knob and entered the room.   It was the Baby's room, Covered in Bunnies and Hearts and more stuff animals than she'd ever seen before, obviously the stranger inside of her was a girl,She put her hands on her stomach,smiled and left to wander through the rest of the house.

The next few rooms she found were Guest Bedroom, Office and Library.   She went back downstairs to the living room and picked up the photo album and sat down on the Couch, She opened it up and begin to flip through it.   The ablum started with Wedding Photos, Elliot standing at the alter, Olivia walking down the aisle with Capt.Cragen giving her away, Munch and Casey Novak, the ADA and one of  Olivia's bridesmaid's dancing. She began to cry wondering when she would be normal again.  

It was so frustrating not to know who she was and soon her tears went away and she put her head down on the pillow  and kept flipping through the photo album, She was becoming tired and just closed her eyes for a second.   Olivia woke up with a start several hours later when she heard keys in the door and struggled to sit up. "LIV!" Elliot yelled up the stairs "right here" Olivia said tiredly,"How was the case?"

Elliot sat down on the couch beside her and took her hands in his. "Eh nothing unusual, Interviewed the Vic who got a good look at the guy, we picked him up outside a  bar in  Jersey, Took him back to the unit, interrogated the Hell out of him, He lawyered up and when the lawyer didnt show, confessed and we booked him..all in a days work" Elliot said smiling. "I miss work. Maybe if i'm feeling up to it, I'll go into work with you tomorrow?" Olivia said Hopefully.   Elliot stopped smiling,"You really don't remember do you?" "Remember what?" Olivia was worried "You quit the Unit when you got pregnant,remember? we both agreed that it would be better for you and the baby if you stayed home and i worked" Elliot wished she would remember because it hurt him to see the horrified look on her face.   "No! i wouldn't do that, You wouldn't allow me to, you know how important work is to me" Olivia was torn between anger and being shocked. "Yes but you also said Our child was more important you to than your job" Elliot hated when they fought especially over this since they'd had this argument before.,"Liv, where are you going?"  

 Olivia was storming upstairs when she felt dizzy and fell back down the stairs.   A few hours later, Olivia woke up in a hospital bed, this time hooked up to monitors and incredibly sore. "El, what happened?" Olivia could barely speak "Honey, you fell down the stairs and we had to bring you back to the emergency room " Elliot said "oh my god,the baby?" Olivia panic stricken,     although she only could vaguely being pregant for a day and a half, she already felt attached to this child.   "She's fine, they had to take her out by C-Section. The  Doctor said she was very lucky, She come out wailing and screaming just like her mommy"

"When Can We see her?" Olivia said anxiously,   "hold on" Elliot went out of her room and came back a few minutes later holding something in His Arms.   "Hey,this is your mommy" Elliot whispered handing the bundle to Olivia. She looked at Elliot then looked down at her baby.   T

he baby was beautiful,She had the most beautiful brown eyes and thank god she hadn't inherited Olivia's Old Nose, and She wasn't red like most babies, she was peach color. she was pefect.   "Oh wow" Olivia couldn't believe she had actually had a baby.  

Just then There was a knock at the door and three heads poked through, Capt Cragen, Fin and Munch.   "Hey are you up for vistors?"Capt asked gently.  Olivia nodded "So is this her?" John asked "Nah,Munch, that's just a loaner"Fin said "Oh shut up" Munch pouting "Guys, Knock it off" The Capt Ordered like a father. "So you guys pick name?" "Jeez, give them sometime, the kid's only a couple hours old." Fin said laughing

"Well..we need some suggestions..you guys got any?" Olivia said "How about Apollina?" Munch suggested, "Yah,if they want the kid to go on tour with Prince,What about Carrie?" Fin suggested "Great, Name the baby after a slasher flick. she'll be in therpy til she's 20." Munch replied "How about Bailey?" The Captain Suggested, "Bailey?,I love it,it's so orginal, where did you come up with such a beautiful name ?" Olivia asked tears forming in her eyes. "That was my mother's name" Cragen said his own eyes filling with tears  

"Ok..enough tears, this is a happy occasion" Elliot said feeling choked up himself.   "Bailey Serena Stabler, I like it" Olivia said and then she let out a big yawn,"El,why don't take you take the baby back to the nursery ?" and with that her head rolled to the side and she was out...  

 "OLIVIA" she heard someone shut her name but she couldn't place who was calling her name.. She opened her eyes and Elliot was standing over her..she was begining to have a sense of Deja Vue.   "what are you shouting for?, I'm right here" Olivia said weakly "Well, it's about friggan time, Sleeping Beauty" Elliot said laughing. "Oh shut up, where's the baby?" Olivia asked,

"Uh, what baby?" Elliot asked confused "Our baby? you know Bailey?" Olivia was becoming hysterical.  "Olivia, Calm down, we don't have a baby, at least one that I don't know about." Just then the Nurse Came In.

"Well Miss Benson, you gave us quite a scare." The Nurse said Smiling. "Uh Nurse, whatever's she on, I wanna some of that and make it a triple!" Elliot was laughing   "We don't have a baby?" Olivia was still confused "No,

But if we did..i think Kathy would be a little angry" Elliot said "Kathy?" Olivia said looking confused "Yah..you know, my wife..pretty blond with blue eyes, mother of my 4 children?" Elliot was wondering how hard she'd hit her head on the curb. " Ok..everything back to normal, thank god" Elliot couldn't understand why she was crying..Women, he thought..     

Olivia and John

Our story begins In New York, at the Special Victims Unit Squad Room, we see three men and a woman sitting at desks talking about an open case.

"Munch, are you blind? this is a clear cut case of murder!"Olivia Benson exclaimed

"I don't think so, i think it was a suicide meant to look like a homicide" John Munch said smugly

"Oh please" Elliot Stabler Rolled his eyes

"Enough with the Conspiracy crap Munch and just deal with it" Fin Toutoualla said ending the coverstation and starting another one"I'm hungry, let's go get food"

"Oh you guys go, I'm not hungry" Olivia said looking a little green

"Liv, are you ok? you haven't eaten anything all day!, you're not becoming anoxeric are you?" Elliot Looked concerned

"No,"Olivia laughed,"I think i'm coming down with the flu or something, after i finish with this form, I'm gonna head out"  The guys nodded and left.

Olivia  didn't want to to tell them the real reason she felt sick but she wasn't too sure herself and she wanted to make sure before she said anything. She thought she might be pregnant.

As she was walking home, she couldn't imagine staying with the unit and being pregnant, she really screwed up. She stopped at the drug store and a bought a pregnancy test. She had to know right away because if she didn't know soon, she was going to go out of her mind.

Olivia followed the instructions on the test carefully and waited 20 minutes for the results.

"Oh my god!" Olivia couldn't believe her eyes, "I'm pregnant" she sat down on the floor and cried, feeling like she was 16 all over again. After awhile, She stopped crying and called Elliot, knowing that he could make her feel better

"El, can you come over?" Olivia whimpered into the phone

"Sure, are you ok?" Elliot asked worried

"No, just please come over" Olivia hung up the phone.

Elliot rushed from Queens to Park Avenue in less than 20 minutes, (usually takes at least 40 because  of the Queens Bridge and traffic)

"OLIVIA!" Elliot shouted as he walked in, thank god she'd given him a key just in case.

"IN THE BATHROOM" Olivia yelled back

Elliot walked timidly toward the back of the apartment unsure of what he'd find...

he found her sitting up against the cabinet and holding something that looked like a lollipop in her hands..

"Livvy, what's wrong? honey, you gotta tell me, where you attacked?" Elliotsaid worried

"Stop being a cop, ok? I wasn't attacked"Olivia took a deep breath, "I'm ....pregnant.."

Elliot was shocked and could barely get the words out," You're what?"  Olivia nodded,"Yup"  He sat down beside her and held her hand..

after sitting and just being with her, Elliot finally got the courage to ask her, "do you know who the father is?"

"Yes but he moved to Paris, i think the called that the mercy screw" Olivia laughed and then blushed

"So what are you gonna do?" Elliot asked

"I'm gonna have it i guess" Olivia said uncertainly

"You don't sound too sure" Elliot replied

"Elliot, i just found out i'm pregnant like 20minutes, i'm all alone and i have no clue what i'm doing or how this is going dramatically effect my life, so pardon me if i don't have all the answer damn!" Olivia stood up and walked out of the bathroom

"where are you going?" Elliot asked

"I'm going out for some air, i have some decisions i need to make ALONE!" and she slammed the door.

"pregnant!" Elliot smiled,but he was still shocked.

 Olivia walked around the Hudson and started to go back to her apartment but something made her walk down to the SVU precinct, Olivia knew the only person who would be there would be Captain Cragen.

When Olivia got to his office, she found the Captain asleep at his desk, she didn't want to wake him up but she had to talk to him, She gently shook him awake,

"wha?-" the captain said drowsly

"sorry to bother you captain but i've got to talk to you it's important" Olivia was very nervous

Cragen rubbed his eyes, shrugged. pointed to a chair and said "shoot"

"Umm, well ok, " Olivia knew she was stalling but she couldn't help it, "Ook um i just found out something very exciting"

The Captain nodded

"I'm pregnant" Olivia nodded

Cragen was clearly stunned, because his eyes kind of bugged out of his head and he looked like someone punched him in the gut.

"Ok, so who's the guy?" The Captain asked

"Well, it was a one night stand and now he's gone on to paris and i'm all alone aand annd.."Olivia began to cry

The Captain got up and gave her a hug, She often felt like the captain was her father and now more than ever,she knew the support would get her through this .

"Ok so here's how it's gonna go,You'll workup until you deliver or whenever then when you come back from maternityleave, you'll come back as if nothing happened,I assume you're gonna keep this baby ?" The Captain stated. Olivia nodded 

"Capt, Can we keep this between you me and Elliot?" Olivia asked

"Yah of course" Cragen nodded Olivia got up to leave and just before she went out the door, he added"congratulations" Olivia smiled and hailed a cab home.

Back at Olivia's Apartment, Elliot was watching a baseball game when he heard Keys being jingled.

"Oh christ, are you still here?" Olivia said coldly

"Yes, i think we should talk about this "Elliot said

"What's to talk about? it has nothing to do with you and it's my body and my decision. Now will you please go home to your wife and children?" Olivia said

"Yeah I will, but what are you gonna tell the Captain?" Elliot was curious

"I told him already when i went by the office and he arranged it so i can still have my job when i return from Maternity leave." Olivia sat in a chair, suddenly very tired

"oh ok" Elliot started to walk out the door

"Hey El," Olivia said, Elliot turned around,"Thanks" Elliot smiled and went home.

The Next day, Olivia went to the Doctor's and had her pregancy confirmed and had all sorts of tests to make sure the baby was alright.

Over the Next few months, Olivia alternated her days between being on a desk and being out in the street, She still hadn't told anyone, Olivia heard that if you tell people before the 3rd month, it was bad luck. But it all come out one day.

Olivia was typing on her computer when The Captain called their usual morning meeting.

"Ok so What have we got here?" The Captain sat on the edge of the desk

"We've got a 20 year old NYU female student found dead in the bushes and very few leads The medical examiner puts time of death 10 to 12 hrs before she was found." Elliot said

"Ok, you and Munch go around camps talk to everyone,see if we can put the name to the face, we can at least have one pick up the body, Fin, go down the morgue and see what you can find and Olivia, you manage the phones and write up the rest of those reports" The Captain finished his orders and went back into his office.

"How come we have to do the grunt work and she gets to to stay here?" Munch Whined

"Just lucky, I guess" Olivia smiled

"No, it's more than that, i mean you've done half the load than usual, what's up are you sleeping with the boss or something?" Munch said meanly.

Olivia's eyes filled up with tears, she pushed back from her desk and yelled "I'M PREGNANT, YOU POMPOUS ASS" and ran to the bathroom

"Real Nice, Munch" Fin said

"Like i knew that right" Munch said defensively

"Next time, why don't you keep your mouth shut?" Elliot said before chasing after Olivia.

The Captain heard all the noise from his office and came out, "What happened?"

 "Munch opened his mouth and now Olivia's in tears" Fin said throwing John a disgusted look, John just shook his shoulders.

Elliot was pounding on bathroom door" Liv, you all right?, Come out Liv, it's ok, OLIVIA" He shouted  

"Just give me a second!" Olivia shouted back, She was standing in front of the mirror, feeling stupid for crying, She hated this new emotional side, she usually  gave it right back to him but she couldn't believe he said that. Olivia washed her face, ran her fingers through her hair and  came out of the bathroom.

"You Ok?" Elliot asked again

Olivia nodded and they walked back into the office, fortunely Munch and Fin had gone down to Coronor's Office.

"You ok?" The Captain asked

"Yup" Olivia said and went back to her typing.

Soon Three Months turned into Six Months and pretty soon, Olivia was in her Eighth Month.

Olivia was breathless when she reached the Office.

"How's the stranger?" Munch asked slyly

"Not even born yet and this kid already torturing me !" Olivia sat down in her chair and started up her computer.

"Ok people, what have we got?" The Captain said as he was coming out of His office, he sat down and tried to put his hand on her stomach,

Olivia grabbed It in Mid-air and said"Do it and you pull back a bloody stub"

"MOOD SWING" Fin, Cragen Munch and Stabler all said at the same time.

they were used to this, she'd been moody for awhile.

"Anyway, What have we got?" The Captain continued

"We've got a dead supermodel, possible rape/homicide, Coronor's office  is backed up" Munch said drinking his coffee

Olivia wanted something to drink but getting up was difficult nowadays,

"Uh, Munch could you hand me a water?" Olivia said pleadingly

Munch got her a bottle of Aquafina and some crackers, He knew she would want them eventually.Olivia smiled her thank you.

"Ok, So Olivia and Elliot, take a ride down to the photo shoot, Munch and Fin, you guys stay here and cross check any pedphiles with the same Motive."

Olivia nodded and Elliot helped her get out of the chair and they walked toward the Elevator.

"Dead Supermodel?" Fin said

"Hey, you try coming up with a reason to get her out of here?" Munch said

they were throwing Olivia a surprise Baby Shower and needed to get her out of the office, Elliot's job was to get her into the car  drive around for awhile pretending to look for the studio then give up and come back. They ran around throwing black and purple decorations, Olivia's favorite Colors and since she had decided not to find out what she was having, they had to make do with what they had. They Decorated her desk and chair, covered the chair with gifts and put a cake with a baby on it beside her keyboard and they gathered everyone Including The ADA, Casey Novak to around Olivia's desk and waited for Elliot's signal to show him and her were coming.

"Liv, what can I say, I'm sorry" Elliot said loudly enough so everyone could here that they were in the building and on their way into the precinct.

"What are you screaming for? I'm right here"Olivia whined as she stepped into the office.

"SURPRISE" Everyone shouted

"Oh my god..you guys!" Olivia started to cry when she saw everyone and her desk decorated and all the gifts.

John and Fin helped her into a chair and put a tiara on her head, she felt like such a Princess..

"Mommy, how about we open some gifts and get this Party started?!" Fin said handing Olivia a ginger ale and opening champagne for everyone else and someone turned up the music and everyone began to dance including Olivia, It was a great party and made even better by the fact that the phones didn't ring once. Olivia opened her gifts and everyone oohed and aahhed,and they ate cake  and then people begin to drift home but quite a few stayed and just hung out for awhile, Olivia did too but soon she was tired and So, Fin put her in cab and she went home.

The next few weeks were very quiet, Olivia got the baby's room ready and waited and waited for something  ANYTHING to happen and nothing happened until...

Olivia was sitting at her desk filling out a report, Suddenly She stopped and looked down

"Oh my god!, Elliot!" Olivia gasped

"Liv, what'sup? areyou ok?" Elliot jumped up and kneeled down besides her

"I think my water broke" Olivia said her eyes very wide

" you want me to go get you another one?" Munch offered

"Not that kind of Water, Munch, she means she's in labor" Fin said as he raced to get the Captain.

"Olivia, are you alright?" Elliot

"No, oOo god! this hurts!" Olivia lurched forward

Cragen ran out of his office,"This  is it?!" Everyone nodded,"Ok people, you know what you have to do."

Captain had given everyone a job to do when Olivia was in her eighth month, just in case She went into labor at the precinct.

Munch was to get the car, Fin got her bag, Olivia had packed an extra bag just in case and Elliot had to make sure Olivia was quiet and calm.

Of  course nothing ever goes according to plan, John completely freaked and just shut down, Fin Locked Olivia's locker key in his desk and Elliot couldn't stop Olivia from screaming.

"ENOUGH" the Captain shouted,"Munch, stop panicking and go get the elevator door open, Fin, just break the desk drawer and i'll have it replaced tomorrow, Elliot, at least get her to stop screaming."

Everyone Obliged and Olivia got to the hospital in one piece,

"oOo god! oOo god! OoOo god!" Olivia had never experienced such pain and she sure she was gonna snap in two

"Liv, you've got to breathe, breathe in breathe out! focus on the tile.." Elliot was trying to make her concentrate, She grabbed him by the neck and pulled him down

"I'M DYING AND YOU WANT ME TO BREATHE?" Olivia screamed

Just then the nurse came and said"Miss Benson, You're dilated 10 centimeters"

"What the hell does that mean?" Olivia demanded

"It means this baby is coming now!" The Nurse smiled.

"Did you hear that, Livvy, the baby is coming!" Elliot exclaimed

"I'm not deaf, i'm in labor, stupid!" Olivia sniped

The Nurses prepped Olivia, and the doctor came in.

"Ok, Olivia, I want you to give me a good push ok?" The Doctor said

Olivia nodded and Elliot took held her hand while the Nurse held the other one

"Here We go..Ok 1..2...3" The doctor said

"oOo god! oOo god! OoOo god!" Olivia yelled

"Olivia, one more good push and you'll have a baby" The Doctor looked up and smiled

"no, i can't i'm so tired, please i just want to go to sleep" Olivia started to cry

"Livvy, you have to do this, just one more and then you'll be back in your size 2 jeans" Elliot said, knowing how pissed she was when she couldn't even get her jeans past her knees

"Ok, one more and that's it" Olivia licked her lips and Elliot lightly pushed down on her back

"That's it, here it comes!" The Nurse exclaimed

Just then, the greatest sound in the world was heard, a  baby's first wail!

"What is it?" Olivia demanded to know

"It's a beautiful healthy baby girl!" The Doctor said, handing the baby to Olivia after The baby was cleaned off and wrapped in a light pink blanket.

"oo, wow, she's soo tiny" Olivia said whispering

"She's perfect:" the doctor smiled and left.

"El, look what i brought into this world" Olivia turned to Elliot, who was crying a little bit.

"I know Livvy, i know"  Elliot smiled through his tears

The baby was perfect dark brown hair, long legs and a button nose, and she was a lighter shade of red, and she was very alert.

"Have you picked out a name yet?" Elliot asked sitting on the bed with her

"I was thinking maybe Keelia Anne" Olivia said

"I like that, it's so original, where did you get that?"

"It just came to me" Olivia was so tired but she didn't want to put the baby down,

"Livvy, You need some sleep, why don't you go to sleep and i'll go show everyone the baby?" Elliot suggest

Olivia nodded and Elliot waited until she fell asleep and walked out to where Cragen, Fin and Munch were waiting.

"Hey, You guys!" Elliot whispered as he came around the corner

"Oh wow, look at the little baby!" Munch said when he saw her.

"How's Olivia?" The Captain said

"Exhausted and out cold," Elliot replied

"Did Olivia pick a name for the baby?" Fin said taking the baby from Elliot and sat down.

"Yup Keelia Anne." Elliot smiled, for some reason, he couldn't stop smiling

"Hey Fin, It's my turn" Munch tried to take the baby from him

"No way, you'll drop her" Fin Twisted away

"Hey children, knocked it off" Elliot ordered, "Captain.Do you wan-" His words were cut off when he turned around and the Captain was gone.

Cragen had tiptoed into Olivia's room  and down in a chair beside her and just held her hand and watched her sleep.

Olivia woke up with a start several hours and ittook a few minutes for her to realize where she was and when she turned on her side, She saw the captain in a chair asleep, She got up out of the bed, put a blanket around his shoulders and kissed his forehead. She walked down the hall and around the corner to the nursery.

On the way to the Hospital Nursery, Olivia had to to pass the waiting room and what she saw made her laugh out loud, Fin and Munch were asleep back to back propping each other up, She looked around for Elliot but he must have went home.

Olivia kept walking until she reached The Nursery and looked for her baby.

"Excuse me, could you show me where Baby Benson is?" She asked a nurse nervously

"Right this way" The Nurse said and led Olivia to her baby's crib

"Is it, Can I pick her up?" Olivia asked, The Nurse nodded.

Olivia pulled up a rocking chair and picked up the baby.

"Are you gonna be alright alone?' The Nurse asked, Olivia Nodded uncertainly.

She looked around and realized no one else was here, She checked her watch and realized it was nearly 4 am.

"Hi  baby, i'm your momma" Olivia cooed,"Yes I am" The baby yawned and stretched a little bit.Olivia was amazed at every move her child made and she couldn't believe how fast she'd fallen in love with the baby already. Both Olivia and the baby fell asleep in the Rocking Chair.

Most Hospitals throw you out the next day and Cedars Sinai is no exception.The next day Olivia and the baby were discharged.

John wheeled her to the curb,"John, i don't need a wheelchair, i can walk perfectly fine." Olivia said

"Olivia, you won't be sitting down for awhile, just enjoy the ride" Munch said wheeling her outside, to a waiting limo.

"What's all this?' Olivia asked

"Well, the Captain figured with everything you've been through and all, that you and baby deserve a decent ride home" Munch smiled and took the baby as Olivia got up out of the wheelchair.

The Ride to Olivia's apartment was fun and John helped her lug her bag and the baby's things upstairs.

" John, Do you think you could stay for awhile and help me get settled please?" Olivia asked

"Yeah Sure, i don't know much about babies, but i can make it up as i go along" Munch shrugged.

Olivia and Munch each took turns feeding and changing the baby  over the next few days 

 After  the baby finally fell asleep, John fell asleep on the couch and Olivia fell asleep in the chair. John woke up when he heard a shrill scream, He looked at Olivia, who was sound asleep and obviously didn't hear the baby. He rushed up the stairs and into the baby's room. He picked up the baby and sat down in the rocking chair.

"Hey you,what's all the screaming?" John said, " yah right like you're really gonna answer me, come on now, don't cry, you're poor mother has been through enough, i know you usually stop crying when you're mother sings "baby love" and i must admit, You're mother is a terrific singer but i can't sing"

The Baby wails hit a higher pitch, "Ok Ok you win" and he begin to sing off key but it seemed to work.

Olivia woke up and heard John singing through the baby monitor, She couldn't believe this was the same guy who was usually such a bastard to others was singing to her baby and the baby was actually quieting down.

Over the next few weeks, John basically moved in with her and helped her with the baby, the More he helped her, The More Olivia found herself falling in love with him.

One night after the baby had been burped and was in her carrier, Olivia and John were finishing up a pizza and watching a movie, it was one of Olivia's favorite's,"From here to Eternity " ,they had just reached the part where Deborah Kerr and Burt  Lancaster are being swept into the waves.

"John, do you think you'll ever fall in love again?" Olivia asked curiously

"Maybe, if the right person comes along, why?" John replied

Olivia shrugged, "I should really put the baby down" and she picked up the baby and went upstairs.

John thought about it and realized why she had asked him that particular, He felt the same way about. He felt like a kid again and sprinted up the stairs. Olivia was just closing the door to the baby's room.

"oOo John, you startled me!" Olivia yelped

"Sorry but i have to tell you this?" John said excitedly

"Yes?" Olivia asked

"I love you, I love you more than you will ever know and I love Keelia, You feel it too don't you?" John said excitedly, Olivia could nodd

"Then Let's do it, Let's get married!" John said excitedly

"Ok, let's get married but let's do it right" Olivia replied,"I want a big wedding with flowers and a priest and to be given away but you problably don't want that right?"

"Liv, i want whatever you" John smiled

A year later, Olivia and John were married in large ceremony with everyone from SVU present and baby Keelia, Olivia finally had the family she always wanted

My Name is Olivia Benson and I'm a detective with the Special Victims Unit, which is the Sex Crimes Unit of the NYPD,

this is my story. a an event that changed my life forever.

I had always known i wanted to have children and be married, but i hoped to be married first and then children, Easier said than Done.

I thought i had met my prince in the form of a firefighter named Tommy Gavin, we had dated for a couple months and it was great especially the sex, until..

It was a friday night and I was with my co-workers celebrating at O'Mallay's on 58th Street, We were celebrating our 1000th case and having a great time, When Tommy,my Mr Right,walked in...

"Hey Liv,isn't that the frog prince?" John Munch said nudging me in the arm.

"Yeah, i wonder what he's doing here?" I said turning  around to see him  kissing  a blond!.

Good thing i had left my gun in my desk drawer because if i had it in my pocket, rage would have caused me to do something stupid.

I marched over to him and the blond and tapped him on the shoulder

"Hey" I said resisting the urge to slap him in the back of the head, Tommy turned around and his eyes bulged.

"Oh crap, Liv i'm sorry" Tommy said,dropping the blond on her ass.

"Your sorry??" I said screaming,"you bastard!,how could you do this to me?" with that, i picked up a beer and threw it in his face and stormed out.

John  came running out after me outside of the club, where i was trying to hail a cab through my tears.

"Olivia, are you alright?" John said looking concerned

these are the kind of moments where i wish i worked with women instead of men because a woman would have just come out said"good for you, the bastard deserved it!"

"I'm fine,I'll live" I said sniffling,"where's Elliot"

John looked suddenly nervous,"taking care of business"

I rolled my eyes and ran back inside to find Elliot putting Tommy ina headlock!

"Elliot, let him go!" I tried to loosen his grip but it didn't work.

"Livvy, let me do this" Elliot said his face turning red

"No just let him go!" I commanded, Elliot relented and let him go.

"Liv I-" Tommy said before i kneed him in the groin.

With a satisfied grin on my face, I took Elliot's arm and we left.

The Next day we told our captain what happened,

"You kicked the crap out of a firefighter,have you all lost your damn Minds?" The Captain said shaking his head then chuckling.

I forgot all about Tommy and the blond over the next few months  because we were bombarded with rapes and homicides.

until the day i realized i was pregnant..

I hadn't realized how late i was until i was working on a case late one night with Elliot..

"El, where are the files for the Dexter Case?"  I asked

"Right here" He handed me the files

"Great, What day are we supposed to be in court?"  I said looking down.

"Tomorrow the 11th" He got up and went to the coffee machine

"wait, tomorrow's the 11th?" I said grabbing my day planner.

"Yah All day why?" Elliot was curious

"No Reason" I said counting the days in my head.."15 days" I said out loud, panicking.

"15 days what?" Elliot leaned over my shoulder

"Nothing" I said picking up my purse and files,"i gotta go" and ran out of the office.

At my apartment, I took out the pregnancy test i had bought on my way home and followed the instructions carefully.

I took a deep breathe and took the test.

those were the longest 10 minutes of my life..

i opened my eyes one at a time, and looked at the test..

POSTIVE. it screamed out.

"Oomy god!" I kept repeating to myself, "this can't be right, there has to besomething wrong with the test" I ran to the phone and called the Doctor.

At the doctor's office, after a battery of tests. The Doctor came back into the office, "You, my darling, are definitely pregnant,Congratulations"  He Smiled

"ooh my god,How far along am I?" I said panicstricken.

"2 months, are you ok" The Doctor said curiously

"I I I'm just stunned" I said stuttering.

I left the doctor's office and just walked around New York, looking at different parents and their kids playing and laughing, wondering if my child and I would be like that...it felt weird to think that..or the fact that i would have a child..

I wasn't gonna tell anyone about the baby until I had told Tommy, but as usual Elliot found out before anyone else...

"Hey Livy,brought you a surprise!" John sang out

"oOo goody, what is it?"  I said excitedly

"you're  favorite, a  hot blueberry scone!" John said dropping the bag on my desk

I took one look inside the bag and was immediately sick,"oOo god!" and ran to the bathroom.

"Gee, was it something i said?" John said looking hurt.

"I don't know but i'm gonna find out" Elliot said, running out after me.

"Livvy, Are you alright?" He asked as I was coming out of the Stall

"I'm fine" I said Swishing some water in my mouth then spitting it out.

"No, you're not, Something's wrong" Elliot Said prying

"I'm fine Ok?" I said just before entering the precinct door

"Olivia,Come On,Be Straight with me" Elliot said blocking my way in the office

"Fine, I'm pregnant, now get out of my way!" I pushed past him and went to my desk.

Elliot just stood there with his jaw hanging down by his ankles.He quickly Recovered and went back to work.

After i confessed my secret to Elliot, He would often look at me and start to tear up and I would roll my eyes.

I didn't tell the captain for another 3 months because he would have immediately put my ass on a desk but when i threw up at a crime scene...

"GET IN HERE!" the captain yelled to me

I cowardly walked in and sat down in a chair,

"What the hell happened last night? I got at least 5 phone calls this morning saying that my best detective can't do her job because she's throwing up all over the crime scene, now what in the hell is going on?." The captain stopped yelling.

"Um..I'm pregnant" I said softly wanting to dart out of the office and into the comfort of my own bed

"What?" The Captain couldn't believe it .hell neither could I!

"yup" I nodded

"Oh wow" The Captain looked blown away

"I suppose you're gonna put me a desk now?" I said

"No,I need you out in the field, Whenever you're ready to get on be on a desk,then you'll be on a desk" The Captain went back to his reports.

I was stunned,but i quickly recovered and went back to work.

Now I was into my fifth month and coudn't get into any clothes, It was time to go shopping..

After maxing out my credit cards, I ran into someone out outside of Macy's ...

"oomp, sorry," I said without paying attention

"Olivia?" The Voice said

 I realized it was John.

"Oh hey Munch, what's up?" I said

"Nothing, just doing a little shopping you?" He said

"Same" I Said setting  my bag on the ground

"Wanna get some coffee?" John asked

"Sure" and off we went to starbucks around the corner.

I got a ginger ale and John ordered an expressio.

"Are you sure you don't want coffee?" John asked

"I'm sure, thanks anyway" I said sitting at a table

"So what's new?" John said Smiling

"Nothing" I smiled back

"Are you sure?" John asked

"Yeah,Why?" I was curious

"Just wondering, you've been acting weird lately" John said leaning forward

"Weird how?"I replied

"Well you've been bitchier than usual and every time we've gotten food, you've thrown up now what's the deal?" John asked

"Nothing" I replied

"C'mon Liv" John pried

"Fine, I'm pregnant satisfied?" I said meanly

John sat back in the chair and took off his sunglasses to rub his eyes

"Pregnant?" John repeated

"Yeah" I said finishing off my ginger ale

"Who's the father?" John asked

"You remember The FireFighter, Tommy?" I said slowly

"Yeah, Him?!,Oh Olivia" John said disappointed

"I know I know",I said then looked at my watch,"Oh crap"

"What?" John said

"I'm late for my songram" I said picking up my bag

"You're what?" John said confused

"It's a picture of the baby" I replied

"Oh" He payed the bill and walked outside with me.

"Do you want to come?"Iasked

"Why?" John said

"Because I'm alone and I want to share it with someone" I answered then hailed a cab.John nodded and we were driven to Roosevelt Hospital.

After We waited in the Doctor's Office for a half hour, We were called and shown into the exam room. Soon the Doctor came in.

"Hello Olivia" Dr.Carter Said

"Hey Doc" I replied,"This is my friend John."

"Hi" John said looking uncertain

"So are we ready to see the baby?" The Doc said

"Yup" I said,"OoOo" as he put the liquid goo on my stomach

"What?" John said

"It's cold and tickles" I explained

The Doctor used the scanner, but it was hard to make out the image

"Uh Liv, I don't see anything, are you sure you're pregnant?" John said

I rolled my eyes,"John,Look right there" I pointed

"oOo" John nodded

"So do you want to know the sex of the baby?" The Doctor said

"Yes" I couldn't wait

"It's a boy" The Doctor said

"Just what the world needs, another man," I said laughing then hugging John, but i couldn't take my eyes off the screen.

My son, It felt so natural to say it, My Son,I kept repeating it to myself.

After my songram, John took me out to dinner and then a movie, it was great and he was so sweet.

Over the next few months, The guys were great, they helped set up the crib and painted the spare bedroom and bought all sorts of army toys and gadgets boys love to play with.

Now All we had to do was wait, wait and wait..

The Captain hadn't wanted to send me out in the field especially since i was two weeks overdue but i wanted to be out there especially since a Congresswoman had been raped, I inisisted because  I felt i had an obligation to the congresswoman..... Big Mistake.

Elliot and I had followed the guy, who'd had raped the congresswoman, from a sleazy motel on 5th Avenue up to Broadway but The guy ran when We called him over to talk to him

"HEY POLICE! STOP!" Elliot yelled but the guy didn't stop

"I GOT HIM!" I yelled back but just before i could collar him, My Water broke

"oOo crap!" i yelled

"Liv, what happened?" Elliot said stopping and looking at me

"Forget me, go get him!" I ordered, Elliot listened and took off down the street

"OoOO god!" I said as the first contraction hit, i pulled out my cell and called the precinct

"SVU, What can i do for you?" John's voice said

"John, It's Olivia, Can you come down to Broadway? In front of the Letterman Marquee?, I'm in labor and Elliot's chasing the perp" I said panicking

"Liv, I'm on my way don't worry!" John said.

"What's that about?" Fin asked John

"Olivia's in Labor!"He said running out the door

I problably should have dialed 911 but i figured the baby would wait until john had come picked me up and drove me to the hospital..Wrong!

"What's going on?" The Captain asked Fin after seeing John running out of the precinct

"Olivia's In Labor on Broadway."Fin said casually

"What?, Get you're coat on!" The Captain said,"we're going down there" and took off.

I had never felt such pain in my life, i tried to sit down on the curb but knowing this city, a car could have jumped the curb and killed me...so i leaned against the building and silently counted how far apart my contractions are..

"OoOo god!" i yelled  and just then john pulled up in the car

"Olivia, are you alright?" John asked stupidly

"No you ass I'm agony!" I screamed,"I think the baby's coming!"

"No Olivia Not here!"John said panicking

"oOo god!" I said falling on my knees

Just then the Captain and Fin screeched up

"Olivia, how far apart are your contractions" the Captain said jumping out of the car

"Every TWoooOo minutes!" I said as another contraction hit 

"Ok, we don't have enough time to get her to a hospital, we're gonna have to deliver her right here" The Captain said

"This is not how i planned on having  this baby!" I yelled

"Yeah and i bet you didn't plan on getting knocked up by a firefighter  either right?" John said smugly

I grabbed him by the sweatshirt "Listen, when you pass a watermelon through you're nose..then you can be smug but until then, SHUT UP!" I screamed

"We need a bus, We have an officer in labor!" Fin Shouted into his phone

"oOo GOD! OOoOo god!" I kept screaming

"John and Fin, grab her by the legs and carry her into the car" The Captain ordered, this was like something out of a bad kidnapping movie

The Guys picked me up but nearly drop me on the curb

"oOoo god!" I yelled

"Olivia, I need to see how far the baby is crowning, so i need you to stop screaming and unhook your skirt" The Captain  said

I took off my skirt, embrassed as hell because most of new york and my boss could see my business

"Liv, the baby's head is crowning, I need you to push!" The Captain said

"Argggh!!" i screamed

"Here he comes!" The captain said giving one final pull and out came my baby,"John, i need you're coat"

"Why?" John whined

"Just give up the coat" The Captain said taking the jacket and wrapping the baby in it and handing me the baby.

"Hi baby, hi" I said starting to cry, Just then the ambulance and firetrucks pulled up.

"Hey we got a call, an officer in labor?" A familiar voice said

I lookedup and nearly fell over

"Tommy?" I whispered

"Oh hey Liv" He said casually,"So where's the officer in labor?"

"Uh right here" John pointed to me

Tommy's eyes bugged out

"You had a baby?" Tommy said sitting on the curb

"Yeah, and he's yours" I couldn't believe i was having this conversation as i was being lifted into an ambulance, John and Elliot  Both Jumped into the back of it.

We were wheeled into the ER and were checked out, The Doctor made us stay overnight,

when we were settled in our room, the baby and i had a lot of vistors.

Elliot insisted on staying in the room with us because he knew how terrified i was.

"So have you picked a name for this little guy" He said sitting on the bed

"Well I was thinking about James Elliot John Olafin Donald Benson" I said smiling at the baby, who was absoutely perfect

Just then Tommy came in.

"Can I talk to Olivia..Alone?"  He hung back in the doorway

Elliot looked at me and i nodded my OK and Elliot walked out of the room.

"Why didn't you tell me about him?" Tommy asked

"Because i was angry and hurt, you cheated on me!" I said looking down at the baby

" Liv I'm sorry!" Tommy said sitting down

"All the apologizes in world won't change things, I've got a baby to think about now" I said starting to cry

"So Now what?,I'll never get to see him is that how it's gonna play out?" Tommy was getting angry

"I can't believe your getting pissed about this, I'm the one you cheated on and left pregnant!" Now i was more angry than upset

"How many times do i have to apologize!" Tommy yelled

"HEY!"  a third voice boomed, Elliot," What are you guys screaming about?"

"Get him out of here!" I demanded

" We're not done talking" Tommy said through clenchteeth

" I am, now go!" I said struggling to sit up, Elliot took the baby and sat down in the chair

"Olivia, please don't take my son away from me" Tommy said quietly

"I have no intention of keeping him from you but you have to understand how badly you hurt us and i can never forgive you for that Now please go " I said staring at him

"Ok but i'll be back tomorrow" Tommy said, I nodded  and he left

I sighed and smiled at Elliot

"Are you going to be alright" Elliot asked

" oOo I don't care about him, I've got someone more important to think about" I said reaching for the baby, "Hello James, Hi"  the baby gave us a tiny smile

That was a year ago, James is now a toddler who any day now is going to say his first word, it's difficult sometimes trying to balance motherhood and my job but the guys have been great and SVU has created a playroom so i can have lunch with James every day, The guys have been great, babysitting and covering my shifts when i need to go to doctor or just need the day off and we see Tommy occasionally, when he has days off or even just for lunch, I didn't think life could be so sweet seeing horrific crimes each day but I found the one good thing that makes everything alright. My Son.

         OLIVIA BENSON P.O.V

I guess i've always been in love with my partner Elliot..when you work with someone for six years, you tend to learn a few things about that person. Well we know practically everything about each other, he was married and had 4 kids and i'm as single as they come. Until he told me he was getting a divorce, and  as sick and twisted as it sounds..i was actually kind of happy. 

Elliot had moved in a small condo in lower mahattan and sometimes after work, we would go down to delancey street and have a couple drinks, He would have his usual vodka and tonic and i had my usual, which was half a shot glass of tequila.

One night after a particularly hard case, we headed downtown to  Times square and hit all the major bars. We got so drunk that we were actually thrown out of a bar and on the cab ride home, we made out..

We got about half way  up the stairs  to my apartment before we started kissing and attempting to take each other's clothes off.

"Ooo GOD! wait wait:" I said

"What? do you wanna stop?" Elliot said breathlessly

"Oo god no, i just wanna get my keys out" I pawed through my purse trying to find my keys while Elliot started kissing my neck..

I finally found the keys and we both nearly tripped over the landing Trying to kiss and walk at the same time

"OoOOofff! let's get into the bedroom before we hurt ourselves" i said .. we both ran into my bedroom and tore each other's clothes off

"i've dreamed of this moment so many times" Elliot said

"Shut up and do me hard!" I commanded

I can honestly in 30 years of life and about 15 of those years of being sexually active.that was the single most satisfying sexual moment of my life and just when i thought Elliot was tired and wanted to sleep, he would want to do it again .

The next morning, i woke up  and expected  to see Elliot besides me but he wasn't, there was a note on the pillow and a mug of coffee waiting on my reading table

Liv, thanks for the sex, it was amazing, i had to run home  and change but see ya later gorgous (wink wink) meanwhile, here's something hott and dark to tide you over til later-Elliot

I laughed and reread the note and kept  rereading it while i was getting dressed.

Over the next few weeks, we combined looking for pediphiles and and murderers with great sex every night, i still don't know how we managed to keep it a secret for so long but we were so good no one even caught on...

Until...

I was running down Avenue B chasing a perp who was molesting little girls and killing them, when i turned onto Avenue C and the guy suddenly stopped short

"HEY POLICE!" i shouted

the guy stopped, turned and pointed a 38mm at me

"PUT THE GUN DOWN" i yelled

all i could think to myself was "where the hell is Elliot?,he should have been right behind me!"

"PLEASE JUST PUT THE GUN DOWN" i pleaded,

the guy didn't say a word, just took a few steps forward, i raised my gun and had my finger on the trigger

"Don't do it, i'll put my gun down if you put your's down" Clearly neogating with this ass wasn't gonna happen.

What happened in the next few minutes, i'll never know,

four shots rang out and i got hit  in my shoulder..oOoo it hurt so bad!

I fell on the street and just waited to die..

"OH MY GOD! OLIVIA" someone yelled  then  i felt someone pick me up but i couldn't open my eyes

"MAHATTAN SVU TO BASE, WE HAVE AN OFFICER SHOT WE NEED ASSITANCE NOW!"  whoever was carrying me, was running and and shouting into a walkie,,i think it was Elliot but i don't know..........
